My name is Gergana Dobreva, and I am a passionate filmmaker, producer, video editor, and scriptwriter, originally from Bulgaria and currently based in the UK. As the founder of Platform Productions (established in 2024), I am dedicated to creating thought-provoking, socially impactful films that resonate with diverse audiences.

With a deep-rooted love for the arts since childhood, I have spent the past several years transforming my passion into a dynamic career. I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Theatre and Professional Practice from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and a High School Diploma in Acting for Drama Theatre from the National High School of Stage and Film Design in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I’ve also enriched my craft through specialized training at the London Film School and a Producing Workshop at NFTS.

Working between Bulgaria and the UK has shaped my ability to connect and collaborate with creatives from diverse backgrounds, fostering a rich exchange of experiences and ideas. My work spans film, contemporary theatre, moving images, and music videos, where I’ve taken on roles in directing, producing, co-devising, scriptwriting, and video editing. I’ve also contributed to high-profile productions for Paramount , Warner Bross , Millennium Media etc. etc. as a Coordinator at NuBoyana Film Studios , further strengthening my skills in project management and production coordination.

I am available for freelance work on third-party productions and always eager to collaborate on projects that aim to make a positive social impact. My mission is to create art that challenges, inspires, and resonates—content that truly matters.
